2-Component Injection Molding

For many years, we have been offering 2K injection molding for hard and soft articles in applications with sealing elements and other metal combinations.

Two-component injection molding offers a wide range of possibilities for joining different plastics together. Even two plastics with opposing properties can be joined together in this way. Hard and soft, multi-coloured or slip-optimized - complex multifunctional parts can be produced using the 2K injection moulding process. Kai Plastics masters the entire process chain, from the development of components to rapid prototyping and the in-house construction of tools through to efficient series production in small, medium and large batches.

Our 2K injection molded parts combine the material properties of two different plastics. Hard and soft, but also reinforced and slip-optimized plastics can be combined with each other. The production of multi-colored parts and the form-fit connection of two non-adhesive plastics are also possible. A single component can fulfill a variety of requirements in terms of functionality and design. The 2K injection molded parts have a wide range of properties.
